I was eyeing this particular beer for the past few weeks and thankfully, it remained an option for me to try today. Two Roads’ Road Jam had an opaque red body with a small off-white head that had some decent retention and lacing. It smelt abundantly of fresh raspberries, faintly of lemongrass and still some bready notes were captured. The taste was, again, primarily raspberry, but also wheat and a hint of lemongrass. This beer had a tinge of tartness and was fairly dry with a moderate body, more than I expected, and was very bubbly. Overall, it delivered what the bottle promised. Initially, I was on the fence about it (not a bad beer in any way), but the raspberry aroma and tartness won me over.
